Mass Effect Foundations

Let's continue on with Issue 6. This is the only two-parter in the series (that I know of, anyway).

Miranda's ship has been blown up, so she finds herself in a warehouse with a batarian.

But Miranda can handle her shit.

Meanwhile, Jacob isn't so swift at handling his.

A little girl named Lakshmi finds Jacob. Turns out her uncle works with the batarian who captured Miranda. Jacob is, however, hurt, so Lakshmi takes him to her mother.

Ain't that always the way?

Lakshmi takes Jacob to the warehouse where her uncle (and Miranda) are at.

Yes, yes, how exciting, Jacob saves the day and frees Miranda. I'm pretty sure they wind up killing the batarian that caught Miranda, too.

... why Miranda? What was it about Miranda that just looked prime for capturing? And two, how did they not get ahold of Jacob? Miranda will cut a bitch, she's not the one I'd want to mess with in that team-up.

The comic ends with Jacob and Miranda discussing the opening of Mass Effect 2.

Cough cough.
