Man, this section was what sealed the deal for me. I remember back when I was 9, playing through and having happy funtimes going through time travel and being the hero. There was just a hint of darkness behind it, with the whole Marle vanishing, and the line "Is that what it feels like to die?" .. but then it was back to the carnival and bright lights and balloons!..
ReplyDeleteAnd then after that trial, you're thrown into the bleak barren post-apocalyptic winter, where everyone is dressed in rags just waiting for their machine to fail and let them all die out...
And that mysterious sealed door. It was SO DAMN MYSTERIOUS.
