So here's clone Shep, chillin on the CIC, in regular Shepard's clothes, which she straight jacked. That isn't weird at all, really.
Clone Shep and Brooks evil off somewhere. I think this is the first and last time the Normandy's armory enters the plot. Do you remember where it is? (Hint: it's where Thane lived. Sort of.)
Only the cronies remain, unaware that Real Shep and crew are creepin.
"Bean, shut up about Splatoon." No.
And thus, a huge fight breaks out on the CIC.
Famously, before Mass Effect 3 came out, BioWare released concept art of Kai Leng breaking into Shepard's cabin and the two beating the piss out of each other throughout the Normandy. The fight was scrapped, and people were saddened. Bioware kindly put something similar back into the Citadel DLC for us.
I mean, they just have the Normandy set pieces sitting around, it's not that big a deal.
Once that's done, we need to get to Clone Shepard, who's currently in the cargo bay.
Fuck her! To the cargo bay! Let's take the elevator!
BioWare kindly put in a Mass Effect 1 style elevator scene for us.
... I had a shittier drawing tablet, I honestly don't think I've gotten better.
In the cargo bay:
One of the complaints levied against Mass Effect was that biotic Shepard never uses her biotics in cut scenes. (I suppose tech Shepard doesn't either.) This cut scene is Shepard-power sensitive: if you're vanguard or adept, you'll get the scene I drew, if you're an engineer or an infiltrator they'll do a tech attack, and if they're a soldier they'll ... do none of that. I have no clue what happens on sentinel. I can't find it on YouTube, which is odd for YouTube!
And so, the final fight with clone Shepard, which we take care of in the usual way:
But wait!
Clone Shepard, being a clone, has charge.
And nova.
And they're both a BITCH to deal with. Vanguard Clone Shepard is probably the hardest battle in the game, maybe aside from the final push itself.
I love Shepard's enthusiasm in that last panel. :D
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or did you draw Wrex eating one of Shepard's fish? Is that an incredibly oblique reference to the two Krogan in ME2 talking about fish in the Presidium lake?
