Hmm, what is going on at BioWare? Great question, Shepard.
Allow me to answer for you.
I googled Bioware to figure out how to draw their Edmonton office, aren't you proud of me?
A true piece of Mass Effect History: just after Mass Effect 3 was released, BioWare put out an app for iPad called Mass Effect: The Final Hours. It was a bunch of behind the scenes stuff.
In that app, they scanned in the one page (really) document that detailed their plan for the ending. According to BioWare themselves, this was their planning document. It's in two pieces because on the iPad, you'd have to scroll.
I really can't stress enough how much I've enjoyed reading your mass effect posts. Me and my friends all started playing the series for the first time around the same time you started. Our earliest memories were each of us panicking to finish the next section of the game to dodge spoilers in your upcoming posts, shouting "so what is this a fuckin' dildo or..." at the beacons, and each of us slowly losing attraction to thane as soon as you made us aware of his eyelids. Years passed, we've finished the trilogy three times over now, left college, moved other places, but your posts still really bring back memories of a great experience for one of the most absurd and wonderful and generally exhausting blue-and-orange dating sim with guns we've had the pleasure of playing.
ReplyDelete... so long story short, 'eyyy nice goin' girl
Best and most accurate last panel ever.
ReplyDeleteCasey Hudson wasn't the writer on ME3... I don't remember the dude's name, but it wasn't Hudson. And both he and Gaider are gone from Bioware now. I'll miss Gaider. I didn't hate his contributions to DA. And there will be more Andromeda stuff next month. I'm hoping for a release date.
